STANDING ALONGSIDE A NEW BUSINESS IS DOPE
When I decided to work with Dejault, it wasn't for the money. It was about the exciting creative dimension. I was like a kid: someone threw a ball on a big playground. No matter if it's raining, I went outside and I played for hours. Yeah I had good time.
STARTING FROM SCRATCH
A NAME, A BRAND
François and I have a friend in common and the first time we met, it was about a packaging design for the previous shop where he used to work. When he decided to create his own business, we got back in touch and crafted the (real) story about Gustave Dejault - his ancestor - who was the first chocolate seller in Tours, France. The name of the brand found, we started creating the logo and a special typeface, based on existing but redesigned.
You know, a good branding makes the heart beats faster. It's like when you see that beautiful person you met in the street: you're happy when you start talking together. You share a coffee and then you fall in love.

We have to wait for the second edition due to Covid-19 cancellation but the first edition showed the concept is ready to grow.
